New York

During this spring break, we, ELP students, have been to New York, which is the biggest city in the United States for five days. During the first day, we went to the New York University, which is a top-ranking university in the United Stateds. However, the university is not very large. Also, we have stepped on the Wall Street. Many banks have been bankrupt. It has evinced that all the city is suffering from the financial storm. During the following days, we have been to many beautiful places such as churches and museums. In addition, we have gone to the Fifth Street for shipping. All things there were very nice, so were the prices. In the fifth day, we went to the China Town of New York. It is not so nice as the China Town in Chicago. Buildings seem to be old and durty. However, people there are polite and Friendly. In conclusion, it is a really cool experience.

L is a letter which has special meaning to me.
First of all, L is a hero in a cartoon named Death Note. In this cartoon, L is very intelligent and very cool. He can find the truth through few clues. He is the hero of the world and saves the world. Without him, many people will be killed by the death note.
Also, L is the first letter of love. Love is something we will pursue all over our lives. We want to understand love and find love. Love also means happiness. Without love, the whole world will be colourless.

Chinese Lunar New Year

It was the first time for me to celebrate the Chinese Luner New Year in another country. I went to Jiang's Friends' home and met a lot of new friends. We had a big dinner and drunk a lot and I felt a little uncomfortble. After having dinner, we played the DOTA. My team won with no doubt. Yeah I am good at playing DOTA, but more importantly my partner was very super. During the night, we sang songs. It was not very polite but we were so happy that no one cared about that. It was really a cool experience.
